Hi, I'm Heather.

I help mission-driven companies tell compelling stories that connect with the right audiences, whether that means attracting new customers, elevating thought leaders, or building trust in a brand. I collaborate closely with teams to plan and create content that’s thoughtful, strategic, and always grounded in purpose.

With more than 12 years of experience in healthcare, I bring deep industry insight to every project. I’ve worked across the provider, payer, and health tech landscape, covering everything from value-based care and health equity to technology interoperability and care delivery innovation.

My experience includes:

• Writing and editing blog posts and feature articles
• Ghostwriting thought leadership pieces
• Interviewing for video or written content
• Creating and editing whitepapers
• Crafting press releases, media pitches, and speaker submissions
• Managing editorial calendars and content strategy

I'm currently head of content at Collaborate Health, a consulting firm that partners exclusively with mission-driven organizations driving real change in healthcare and beyond.

Previously, I served as managing editor at Olive, a health tech startup focused on automating administrative healthcare tasks, and as a senior communications consultant with Health Care Service Corporation, where I led brand journalism efforts. I began my career at Becker’s Hospital Review, a nationwide healthcare business publication with nearly 2 million monthly readers.

When I’m not at work, you can find me walking my rescue mutts Hamilton and Hoover, watching baseball (Go Twins!), or listening to a podcast like The Dollop.
